Back to School

Madeleine is planning to start preschool as soon as she completes potty training. As part of our systematic approach to incentivizing the potty training in part by talking up the appeal of school, we told her she could pick out a backpack. She wanted a pink one, even though it's as big as her. The rest is history.

Beach Girls

It was a day of smiles and laughter in Manhattan Beach today with my girls - Madeleine had a blast and was completely out of control, attempting to eat seaweed and sand, picking out her own accessories and taking them up to the cash register, and stealing most of mommy's shrimp at lunch. But we still had a great time as you can see below.
