Exciting news that I forgot to post from last weekend - the remains of the umbilical cord are out and the belly button is there in all its splendor for everyone to see. Looks like an "outie."
Also on the home front, we've had three nights in a row of decent sleep. Last night in particular was great - she was up for feeding/changing around our bedtime - once during the night (4 hours later) - and again when we would normally be waking up anyway. We'll take that!
She's developed a new trick though. Let's call it the after-poo. She'll do her duty (or "dootie" as they say) and we'll go to change her. Halfway through the changing, usually after the new diaper has come in, she'll squeeze out a supplementary after-poo -- ruining the new diaper and forcing the whole process to start over again. And, she gets the most satisfied little look on her face after she's done her extra business. That's our girl!
