Our Wired Little Bathing Beauty
One of the joys of living in the internet age is that we're able to keep people who live hundreds of miles away updated on our latest developments. We have the blog (obviously), a digital camera, and a camcorder to record images and videos and share stories. We also have a webcam so we can do video calls with people. Sometimes, though, people get more than they bargain for - Grandma Mary got to witness a diaper changing last night because the little one had to do business during the middle of our call. To really help Grandma feel connected, I went ahead and held the dirty diaper up to the webcam before disposing of it. I figure she'll have the see the real McCoy in person when they come visit us, so she might as well get used to the sight even if we haven't figured out how to convey the smell yet.
Now that the umbilical cord is off, we're able to give Madeleine baths. As you can see, it's a multi-person effort at this point until Mommy and Daddy
get a little more experience.
